Emily Silverspark Magical Combat Sword Fight HW

"Wake up Emily," Kitty called.

"Why?" I begged, "Little more?"

"No, we've got to get to work. I have a busy day." Kitty said, annoyed. "If when I come back, you are not dresses, you have to find another partner."

"Fine.. I'm getting up." I grudgingly called.

Twenty minutes later Kitty came back. We walked together to a big empty field. I realized I forgot my gear.

"Eh, excuse me." I heard, so I turned around to see Shine struggling to bring me my gear. The sheath for my sword was hanging over her little shoulder and she was using magic to make it float in the air.

"Thank you so much Shine," I said, taking the sword and sheath from her, leaving her panting. Kitty was laughing as we both put our sheaths on.

"Ready?" She called.

We brought out our swords and with a flash, the fight had begun. The swords clashed and scraped. I must admit, Kitty has the speed, agility and gracefulness of a cat. Whenever I felt like I would get her, she leaped to the side, or quickly blocked it or parried it with ease. Finally I realized it was useless. I had to do something she wasn't expecting. I dashed in close to her and lunged, but she jumped over it. Panting, I decided to use a move I do with my scepter. I knew it would be useless, though.

Only half-heartily, not paying attention, I brought my sword up over my head, twirled it around my head, and brought it straight down on Kitty. She was obviously not expecting this but she was still fast. She leaped to the side, but a second too late. I scraped her shoulder. Well, more like cut, but it wasn't too bad.

After a long day's battle, we decided to call it quits. We both agreed it was an epic enough sword fight. Shine saw we were done and came to heal our wounds. They weren't bad. I had a couple cuts, bruises, and only two slices. Kitty only had that one slice, and less cuts and bruises than I had. Shine healed them all.

I said bye to Kitty and headed over to my room, going over the whole fight in my head.
"I did pretty well" I thought. I recorded the whole thing down, as best as I could and asked Shine to fill out anything I missed. Then I went to Aya and Arya and played fetch and catch and chase.
