That's quite interesting. 
Touches on philosophy a bit here, I have to say... perhaps colour still retain its natural properties as colour even in darkness and all. It's like.. even though we have no light to see things, we know that this colour is.. this colour. o.O
Though maybe colour is in us rather than outside.
Anyway, it's a thought-provoking piece. I like the direction that you've gone in to have portrayed this concept.
